Located on the second floor of a shop lot in Kulai, the cafe stands out with its thoughtfully curated rustic decor, soft lighting, and ample natural light, creating a perfect setting for relaxation, casual reading, or socializing. Customers consistently highlight the quality of the coffee, roasted in-house, alongside freshly made items like bread, pizza, and waffles that complement the experience. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere enhances the charm, though some mention limited food variety and occasional parking difficulties as minor drawbacks. Overall, it is regarded as a hidden gem ideal for unwinding in a quaint, artistic environment.
If you are ever in Kulai, this place is a must visit.. Food options are not that varied but the fact that they make their own bread and pizza is enough.. We tried the waffles, pizza and garlic bread, all 3 was fantastic! And the coffee is a must try.. Roasted by the boss himself... My kids didn't have enough and thus wanna go back again... And to add on, the wanton noodles next door sells decent traditional wanton noodles too...
Come for the coffee. This cafe offers a homely vintage aesthetic. It feels like you are sitting in your parents’ living room instead of usual cafe. I love how they allow natural light come in through the windows. Nice place to unwind after work thou they close at 6pm. The two chinese uncles also quite friendly.
Jufei Cafe: A Perfect Coffee Time Machine for the 80s Babies! What a hidden gem! You should definitely try Jufei Cafe. Tucked away on the 2nd floor of a shop lot, finding it feels like discovering a secret hideout—which is part of the charm. As soon as you step inside, you are transported. The classic environment is filled with nostalgic decor, vintage furniture, and an overall aesthetic that absolutely brings back old memories if you are an 80s baby (or just love retro vibes!). It’s cozy, warm, and the perfect place to just unwind and soak it all in. I ordered the Café Latte made with the medium roast Rwanda bean, and the taste was nothing short of perfect. The complex profile hit all the right notes, featuring a delightful balance of bitterness and fruitiness that is characteristic of a great East African single-origin. This cafe is more than just a place for coffee; it’s an entire experience. Whether you're chasing that retro feeling or just a beautifully executed latte, Jufei Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommended! Coffee: Awesome Price: Average Highlight: Shop Environment
Absolutely loved this vintage yet aesthetic café! The decor gives off a nostalgic early 1990s vibe — from the rustic furniture to the soft, cozy lighting, every corner feels beautifully thought out. I brought my grandmother along, and she was pleasantly surprised by how much the place reminded us of her old house where we grew up before it was demolished. On a side note: it is located at level 2 only accessible through the stairs! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming — perfect for relaxing over a cup of coffee or catching up with friends. The drinks were well-crafted, and the desserts complemented the nostalgic setting perfectly. Highly recommend trying their garlic bread — it’s unique and quite different from the usual Western style. The uncles running the café were also really friendly and even shared some local tips on where to visit next. Do note that every visiting pax is required to order one item, which is quite similar to the cafes in Korea hahah. It’s truly one of those hidden gems that makes you want to linger a little longer just to soak in the charm.
such a hidden gem! the cafe has this cozy, vintage feel with lots of plants, books, and charming old-school decor. feels like stepping into someone’s warm, artsy home. very perfect for chilling, reading, or just enjoying the peaceful vibes. only downside is parking can be a bit tricky.
The café’s décor features vintage, olden-day furniture, shelves full of books and magazines, wooden sofas, and charming wooden windows. It has a cozy, nostalgic feel that many people seem to love—one of the main reasons I decided to visit after seeing it shared by so many. They only serve drinks and snacks. I ordered a white coffee, a black coffee, and a slice of cheesecake. The service was good, friendly and attentive. The ambiance stood out more than the food and drinks. Overall, it's a quaint spot with nostalgic charm. I might come back, but I’m still deciding if it’s worth a second visit.
Stepping into this cafe is like transported back in time to the 80s. Large collection of memorabilias from nokia phones, typewriter, film cartridges to philips sewing machine and many more, it does bring back the good old memories.
We were here for pre-lunch drinks and snacks. Drinks are great - matcha latte, mint chocolate, latter. Pizza was freshly made and delicious. The set up was cosy, we chose on floor cushions around a coffee table. I'm not much into being surrounded by vintage artefacts but it was cute to spy robot toys on the lintels above us.
